\nWorking for an award-winning leader in supply chain logistics, is looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent.\n
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with a market leader, working on a well-established retail contract.\n

\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Monday to Friday working pattern with early morning starts (02:0004:00)
\n
• Carrying out a mix of:\n
  \n
  • Retail store deliveries
  \n
  • Trunking
  \n
  • Salvage collections
  \n
  • Shunting duties
  \n
\n
• Operating double decker and curtainside trailers
\n
• Ensuring full compliance with:\n
  \n
  • Drivers Hours regulations
  \n
  • Working Time Directive
  \n
  • Health & safety standards
  \n
  • Highway Code and road safety regulations
  \n
\n
• Maintaining safe and efficient driving practices at all times
\n

What Were Looking For\n
\n

\n
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
\n
• Minimum 6 months commercial Class 1 driving experience
\n
• Willingness to undertake occasional nights out
\n
• Comfortable with manual handling (roll cages)
\n
• Ideally local to Stoke-on-Trent
\n
