Junior Business Intelligence Developer

Network Rail Consulting (NRC) is the international consultancy arm of Network Rail – the owner and operator of Britain’s mainline rail system. We have been active in the North American, Australian and the Middle East markets since 2013 and have successfully delivered more than 150 consultancy contracts for government, public and privately owned organisations.

In our office based in Waterloo station, we are looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Developer who supports the design, development, and maintenance of data systems that transform raw data into meaningful insights. Working under the guidance of senior team members, the role contributes to building data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to support informed business decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Support development of data warehouses, ETL processes, and BI solutions.
2. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
3. Perform basic data analysis and identify trends.
4. Assist in data validation and quality assurance.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.
6. Continuously develop technical and analytical skills.

Job Skills:

• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to ETL concepts and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
